Ed Bleynat graduated Magna Cum Laude from Clemson University with a B.S. in Financial Management in 1986. After graduating with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1989, Ed began his legal career by clerking for James G. Exum, Jr., then the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of North Carolina. He later went to work with a major Greensboro law firm in a general litigation practice, focusing on business litigation and tort law.

In 1995-96, Ed, his wife and children relocated to Asheville, North Carolina to continue his law practice and to raise their family in Western North Carolina where Ed grew up. After Ed started his own firm in 1997, he and Joe Ferikes merged their practices into Ferikes & Bleynat, PLLC.

Ed engages in the general practice of law, focusing on business litigation, civil litigation, major personal injury, real estate litigation, construction and contract law.

Ed is actively involved in a variety of church, civic and community activities as a director, trustee or volunteer.

We are located in the Chestnut Hills Historic District near downtown Asheville, North Carolina.
From downtown Asheville: 
Go North on Biltmore Avenue which becomes Merrimon as it passes under I-240. Turn Right on Broad Street which is one street after the light at West Chestnut. We are the second house on the right at 21 Broad Street. Easy street parking is available.
From I-240:
 The directions are the same whether you are coming from the East or West on I-240. Exit at Merrimon Avenue. Turn Right which is North on Merrimon. Turn right on Broad Street which is the first street after the light at East Chestnut. We are the second house on the right at 21 Broad Street. Easy street parking is available.
